Oil’s birds still present this evening plus 6 Cattle Egret on the large weedy island (there can’t be too many records for the site?), 5 Pintail, 2 Dunlin, Hobby, the usual RCP.

2 x juv Black Tern, 9 x Common Term & 3 x Ruff the highlights this morning. On/over exposed area between Cheddar tower and yacht club.

Two dunlin still on the spit late morning. Also peregrine made two passes chasing small bird before drifting off east.

Coincidental quick look this evening - the Gt Egret and Common Sand still, 2 Dunlin, 1 Common Tern and the drake RC Pochard.

2 little & a great (!) egret on the slipway this morning, also a common sandpiper. Seemed to be more mallard present than I’ve seen for a while, but didn’t count them or walk right around.
