Single Swift over Chewton Plain 11.30 31.8.22

Swift still in my nestbox on 29th.  Westbury-sub-Mendip

Single Swift just before 1pm this afternoon, Coleford, and 2 other Swifts seen by a friend near Frome this evening.

Two over Butleigh last evening were the first that I had seen for some time.

Swift still here this evening, Coleford

1 swift seen over Central Frome by two people separately.  Interesting to see if this is the last!

1 Swift continuing to show well at home plus approx 110 House Martins feeding together

Still at least 1 Swift present, Coleford, this evening. 2 Swifts here yesterday.

Bulk of Swift left Ilminster early August. One seen this afternoon around the town centre then entering nest site on the High Street.

A group of 7 swifts seen repeatedly over Central Frome this morning.

Swift still using one of my nest boxes in Westbury-sub-Mendip.  Last seen leaving on 19th August

one swift over central Frome last night and two this morning.  As John says, the very last visitors.

2 Swifts present again today.

Looking at Social Media the odd Swift is still being seen across the County

A swift or two often hang around in Coleford until late August/early September.
One this evening observed entering a nest site at a regular breeding location near the village Co-op.
