Paul Clement and I went back this afternoon to Broomfield having seen only a singleton Hawfinch there yesterday morning. Today we were rewarded with prolonged, good but somewhat distant views, of a small flock of 5 Hawfinch in the tall deciduous trees behind Fyne Court cottages.

At least 3, prob 4, Hawfinches in Yew & adjacent tall trees at Fyne Court cottages, Broomfield (Quantocks) this afternoon.

Also one in Great Breach Wood this afternoon (6 Nov)

Glastonbury 4 in top of a Beech tree before flying off west on Sat Nov 4.
