The female Lesser Scaup still present with Tufted Ducks on Long Load lake this morning: also a 1stW Greater White-fronted Goose, on the lake, and later among 100+ Greylags and 2 Egyptian Geese on the large short-grass fields immediately south of the lake.
Is that all at sharpham drove, or across ham wall?
Lesser Scaup still present this morning (18/01) , also Bittern , Marsh Harrier, and a single White-fronted Goose amongst the c150 Greylags .
Replying to Sean Davies: Yes I know that, but it is an outlying part of the reserve that cannot be reached/accessed from the main Ham Wall Reserve. Also there is no general access, the lake can only be viewed from the roadway which is regularly used by large lorries. Parking here is very limited, so please park responsibly and not block any gateway.
Spot on with the directions but just to point out Long Drove is part of RSPB Ham Wall.
