A good field meeting this afternoon at Shapwick Moor, Hawk and Owl Trust reserve.  the rain held off and we were able to access Canada Farm Lake with dry feet!  Highlights of the 24 species seen included Marsh harrier and Kestrel . Reed Buntiings and Great Spotted Woodpecker on the feeders at Barbara Handley Hide. Wigeon, Shoveller, Teal, Cormorant at Canada Farm Like. A very large Lapwing in flight over Catcott reserve . Thanks to all who came along at to Alex Learmont the Hawk and Owl Trust warden who told us a bit about the reserve and plans for the future.
