9 species of gull in the roost this evening; Laughing, Ring-billed, Med, Little, Black headed, Common, Herring, Lesser black backed and Great black backed. Rog Musgrove picked out the CVL Laugher around 5:45pm, with the Ring billed dropping in again a bit later. After a very, very poor winter, finally a purple patch at the Res!

2w Ring billed gull expertly picked out by Chris Craig this evening. Dark feathering in the tertials and lack of primary mirrors means this is a different bird to Dave Dawe’s, sp presumably a few about this winter. Great find and a massive thanks to Chris for the heads up!
