Good passage of auks this morning off Minehead between 8.15 and 9.15. 8 Razorbills, 6 Guillemots plus several auks too far out to identify. All flying west, some relatively close. This is the most I have personally witnessed in Somerset this year. Overall Razorbills are seen more frequently than Guillemots off the Somerset coast, but many auks go unidentified being too far out to be sure which species.
Also, earlier 2 Common Scoters flew west.
