The Avalon Marshes roost appears to have moved from Ham Wall to Shapwick NNR. A good murmuration just before 1600 hrs this evening, lasting 15 minutes or so, viewed from the old railway near Noah’s and looking across towards Shapwick village. Heavily overcast with very little wind. They were a good way off, over the agricultural fields at times I think, so a better view might be obtained from the lane between Buscott and Shapwick. Assuming they choose the same place of course…
