You actually saw a mix of adults & immatures:
“Males and females look alike; except the female is smaller and often has darker markings on the bill.” The light headed bird may be a female, but not confirmed.

& They are in bath & north east Somerset, which was part of Avon, a separate reporting area.

I saw 1 female and 5 male Egyptian Geese at midday today at Chew Valley Lake.
