Photos of a bar-headed goose (escape) with Canadas on Facebook today - one was at slimbridge at start of November
A Garganey on Otterhampton Marsh this am, which was heaving with wildfowl, Lapwing and Golden Plover, just superb. Huge numbers of Teal particularly. The Garganey had smooth pale tan flanks with just a few large dark feathers - could easily be the Cheddar individual from a couple of week ago. Also 1 Ruff. 17 Avocet were on the tidal pool north of the breach.
