One red kite flying south, quite low, just up Whitehouse road from the balloon hangar around noon. Earlier, further out towards Combwich, male marsh harrier putting up curlew, lapwings, ducks and dunlin over the flooded scrapes. Good to see a decent amount of standing water on parts of the Hams, but sadly the hares I was really looking for were notable by their absence.
