Could only see 1 Whooper on Decoy this afternoon in 2 hrs. Very few duck present 40 Tufted ; 5 Pochard ; 20 Teal; 4 Gadwall;  several Mallard and half a dozen Shoveller and 7 Mute Swans.

I was alerted to a report of Whooper Swans on Decoy lake yesterday so braved the rain this morning and saw 2 there. On the way there and back I also saw a Woodcock, a very distant hirundine, almost certainly a Sand Martin, at least 7 Redpoll, a Goldcrest and 3 Tree Creepers.
