There were two Common Terns on Noah’s this morning around 1045 in very breezy conditions they disappeared after 20mins.
3 Hobbies were in the air together toward Decoy Lake.
5 Great White Egrets were at one time sitting together at the far (Roughet) edge of the lake showing their legs very clearly but not a ring between them!
The Two Glossy Ibis appeared apparently coming from the Decoy/Roughet direction heading for the scrape on Meare Heath.
20 or so Wigeon and 8 Shovellerwere the only duck of interest.

2 juv Blk Terns still present this morning, as were 2 Grt W Egrets. Also 3 Hobbies and a small party of Bearded Tits reported.
A (the) Osprey was still present on Noah’s Lake this morning-32 days in residence since arriving on August 9.
At least 17 Common Terns appeared out of the steam this morning on Noah’s Lake, as did the Osprey with a small fish a little later.
Also Hobby’s feeding young on the wing.
