First birding visit today.Hoped to see a whinchat,it was very windy by the time i arrived so no show for me.I did see 19 spp which was most enjoyable as i was there for less than 4hrs,most of which was spent on the causeway.Little egret.common sandpiper,wigeon x1,lesser b b gull and 30+ great crested grebes were among the birds seen.

am. visit produced 2 little egret,6 common sands,1 green sand, 1 ad yellow legged gull feeding on dead crayfish, 2 fly over calling yellow wags, 50+ g.c.grebes. water level has dropped since my last visit looks good . jr
