Still there 9.15pm this evening. With c.50 black-headed gulls hunkered down on the embankment above it

Apparently still there late evening, which is encouraging. It was a bit skittish when I first saw it about 2.15, but it seemed to like the environs of Cheddar Tower, and kept returning to the same place.

Per BirdGuides: an adult Spotted Sandpiper at Cheddar Reservoir, by the Cheddar Tower early afternoon. Don’t know who the finder is but good-on-them. Hope it stays for tomorrow!
