Today Redwing, Fieldfare & Starlings were along Old Bristol Road, south of the Hunters Lodge Inn (Priddy), still plenty of hawthorn berries there too
Also a Bullfincch along Nine Barrows Lane, Priddy
& today Grey wagtail & Little Egret on the river in village (lots of Redwing / Fieldfare still beyond top of Gorge)
Got some nice video of RCP “crash” dunking & preening, but think I need to go another time than lunchtime, as both visits looking into sun at most of the Pochard
Pair of Mute Swans, but no Canada Geese
No, it doesn’t sound like it was same - mine does appear to have a more pochard head shape though, but could just be momentary impression
Had good views of the Tufted type today and it looks like TD x Pochard to me. Back is v dark grey but not black; bill has a broad black tip, then white which bleeds up the bill smoothly into grey, so no band. FDxP also there but no Scaup for me. (don’t think you have a shot of the hybrid, sorry Mike, but I might not be seeing the right page)
11 Goosander first thing today, 8 of which flew off east. 4 drake, 7 duck.
The grey sided Tufty was by Cheddar Tower at lunchtime (couldn’t see Fudged Duck, but Pochard were split between the two entrances, so Axbridge side looking into the sun)
Photo here (previous is same bird, others are pure Tufted):

Majority of Coot in SW quarter, whilst ducks all around edge of north half (most of mallard around Axbridge Tower)
just one Goosander of note this morning as well as the RC Pochard but in the gorge I saw Dipper, Grey Wagtail, Tree Creeper and Goldcrest all close together below the Cave entrance car park.
2 drake Scaup today.
Also the 2 hybrids still, found by James P on 26th. One a smart Ferruginous x Pochard drake; the other a probable Tufted x RND drake but I don’t think anyone is 100% sure on that just yet (it was asleep today).
Had a scout round for the Waxwing up the top with no luck but still masses of thrushes around.
First winter male scaup north of Cheddar Tower with the RCP late morning.
At least 8 goosanders (2 males) flew in just before dusk. Also adult winter med gull near Axbridge entrance found by Nature Trek group. Gull roost extraordinary. Northern section between Axbridge Tower and sailing club was a dense carpet of gulls.
Red-breasted merganser still near Cheddar tower Monday, late morning.
RB Merganser still by the Cheddar Tower inflow late afternoon. Also drake pintail asleep on the water there and the RCP near Axbridge entrance.
Female type red breasted merganser by Cheddar Tower.
Turnstones seen at Clevedon seafront today.
A barnacle goose with the Canadas near the spit this afternoon. Also 4 small waders in flight - very white underneath so possibly sanderling but distant and headed over Axbridge.
