A very high tide this morning made it a worthwhile visit. The highlight was a Spoonbill that came across from Stert Island and landed near the sewage outfall then went to sleep on the seawall at 10.30. First I have seen on that side of the Parrott. Otherwise a good mix of 10 waders. In order of appearance. Redshank, Blackwit, Curlew, Lapwing (only one and my first for 6 weeks!), Avocet, Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Oystercatcher, Turnstone and Knot. Also Swallow, House Martin, Skylark, Mipit, Wheatear and Raven. BHG, Herring Gull, LBB and GBB.
