As an update to the pollution incident, I contacted the environment agency and the local duty officer said that it is a known outfall and has been tested and is legally allowed, he assured me that although it looks bad it is not harmful

2 Spoonbills at high tide around 13:30 today and around 50 Knot with the Blackwits.  Just before i left there was a release of awful looking affluent from the old pipe on the left below the sluice, surely this can’t be good, video on this link https://1drv.ms/v/s!AsDSaGQBdM5Ihqh6pKbWpsaMsEvLHw?e=geqJa8
There seems to be a problem with the link, this one should work https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/3w9vcrcy621k9szgnh3lv/DSCN8550.MP4?rlkey=myuez5wlyce2bc79egtbn7kxm&dl=0
