0930hrs today, 20 December. Stockhill.  Four Crossbills on the T junction at the top of the forest track up from the road but inevitably mobile. Light was not good but at least two were males.  No sign of Siskin or Redpoll, though, here or at Westhay Moor.

I saw a group of at least 6 Crossbills, male and female on the 14th November together with a few singles. Mainly along the right hand path/road from the main road up the hill.

Latest reports on here were all last winter, but lots of stuff gets posted on Twitter or birdguides that never makes it onto this forum

Spotted good numbers of Goldcrest on the main paths at Stockhill today. lots of individuals but some small flocks of 6 or more. Sadly I did not find any Crossbill. Would like to know if anybody has had any recent sightings and if so where.
