The Whooper Swan reported yesterday still present this morning. Male Hen Harrier also flew through.
This is probably the same bird we saw at 9.35am
flying south across the reserve disappearing from view over Ropes Drove near the Catcott Burtle road.
Male Hen Harrier seen this afternoon. Seen from Lower Ropes hide initially very briefly before it flew behind trees near the hay stack but 50mins later seen well as it flew through the reserve from west to east then 15mins later it flew past again.
No mention of it on twitter or birdguides since the 13th, but the hen harriers still seem to be around (also at tealham, but not SE owl)
Is that green winged teal type still around please?
