After finding 3 Fieldfares in the garden this morning I fancied finding a few more on the Quantocks. But not to be nor Redwings. However 8 Dartford Warblers, 15 Stonechats, 12 Meadow Pipits between Wilmots pond and the top of Hodders Combe. 6 Ring Ouzels at the bottom of Sheppards combe. And 1 Hen Harrier ( fem/juv). The first I have ever seen on the Quantocks. A few poor pics if anyone wants to have a go at sexing/ageing it. Also a roaring Stag. (I know that’s male) !!
