Somebody claimed to see a Red Kite over work (Milverton) either yesterday (Thursday) or today. A colleague who knows a little about birds questioned the spotter and said they described a kite correctly so seemed to know what they were talking about.

Hi Graham, Thanks for the photo ! The bird i had was large but flying away from me & distant it was flying purposely with powerful wing beats which suggested bird of prey!
