Excellent hirundine passage yesterday between Uphill and West Hunstpill. Lots of other migrants too. Totals included:

Uphill/Weston STW: 2 Whinchat, 1 Yellow Wagtail over, 6 Sedge Warbler, 3 Reed Warbler, 9 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 160+ Swallow and a couple of House Martins mixed in. 2 Common Sandpiper also along the Axe.

Brean/Berrow Dunes: 435 Swallow, 15 House Martin, 1 Sand Martin, 2 Yellow Wagtail over, 5 Lesser Whitethroat and 3 Whitethroat.

Hunstpill Seawall and Sluice: 400 Swallow, 60+ Sand Martin, 9 House Martin, 5 Wheatear (2m/3f), a Cuckoo calling south of sluice from 19:30, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Sedge Warbler, 3 Little Gull, 3+ Bar-tailed Godwit, 10 Avocet, c.75 Whimbrel and 40 Dunlin.
