Graham might we use the first of these in the Avalon Marshes New Colonists Report for 2021 - appropriately credited, of course?

A late walk along Burnt Drove looking for Barn owls (7:00pm), came up with a purple heron instead… Which was a nice ‘tick’ for me. I guess it’s the same one seen at Catcott last month. A couple of shots on Flickr:
