Sneaking over to the charterhouse area again, saw a wheatear this afternoon by the road, near the outdoor centre. (Managed a good range of amphibians / reptiles over the last 3 days there too, with frog, toad, newts, a baby lizard & a sunbathing adder)
About 125 swallows gathered on the wires by charterhouse centre yesterday, whilst the house martins are still feeding what must be their second brood at the hunters lodge Inn & 2 raven flew over there at lunchtime.
Great egret flying towards the pool at lunchtime today
