Hi all,
For anyone not aware, there is a Black-winged Stilt at Steart WWT. First found yesterday morning, it still around today on the pool on the west/southwest side of Otterhampton marsh, best viewed looking north from the viewing platform on the south side.
Also around in the last couple of days, Little Stint on Otterhampton Marsh, Spotted Redshank on the pool near the Breach, 3 Egret species around Stockland Marsh. Increasing numbers of waders in the wider bay/Stert peninsular area recently, and today a juv-1w Yellow-legged Gull on the Parrett. Also an escaped Cape/South African Shelduck around Otterhampton Marsh.
Cheers, Matt
