Today’s update:

3+ Grey Plovers in breeding plumage far out on the mud.  No godwits visible but tide well out and no ‘scope.

A male Merlin was the latest date I have had one here except for one on 22/04/2011.

No passerines of note.

1 flyover Greenshank this morning c. 09.00.  Also c. 100 Bar-tailed Godwits (30% in breeding plumage) - there were 62 total yesterday.

Reed Warbler heard only; Sedge plus a small number of Whitethroats (f. with nest material already!) and Willow Warblers.
