At least one Redshank still at Catcott this afternoon. Whitethroat singing near the car park, A couple of Reed Warbler heard from the fen area , lots of Blackcap and Chiff Chaff but only hirundines seen were about 4 Sand Martin.

At least two Redshank feeding together this morning in front of the car park screen, . They have bred here in the past. Here’s hoping!  Plus 4 Lapwing; 1 G.W. Egret; 1 Little Egret. A Swan nest building in the Reed Mace; very few duck, a dozen Teal and couples of Mallard and Gadwall with 2 Wigeon still hanging on.
