Having seen pic (it’s on today’s Avonbirding report), it doesn’t appear to be the same as portbury individual from couple of years ago:
https://avonbirding.blogspot.com/2018/03/27-03-18-tuesday.html?m=1

There was one reported on here in Avalon marshes migrants thread from March last year (no pic)

Thanks for the interesting link Mike, some messy looking hybrids here! The Cheddar bird looks 50/50 ring-necked x tufted in its features. Shame I can’t put my pic on this forum, but if you’re interested, check my Twitter feed. Many experienced birders have seen and ‘liked’ my post and as yet no one has disputed my call on this bird’s ID

Just one female goldeneye left today - in southwest corner at about 9.30. Still 20+ shoveler. 5 little egrets in field next to southern end. Yesterday a snipe flew across the southwest corner mid-morning.

2 female Goldeneye together on south side, 37 shoveler on north, a chiffchaff along the top end of new fence & a presumably little egret flying low over the water on far side after lunch. (Pochard appeared to be the most numerous duck & a dead pike blown to edge)

two pair of Goosander this morning around 08:30, close to the boat house , and a Greenfinch at a usual spot in trees by the caravan park on Sharpham Road, ....As an aside, i have heard a RUMOUR that due to large numbers of visitors on the better days at weekends that access may be denied because of this, [sometimes up to 400 people and more ],  a lookout for any such notice birders should be aware of , if i hear any confirmation then i will post it,
