No sign of the Rosy Starling during a half hour search this morning.
Went onto RSPB Swell Wood. The car Park is open , but the Heronry Hide is closed.
A one way system is in place around the shorter trail.

Nationally, there have been over 100 since the start of the year, and 50+ since last Monday. The first for the Azores (!) also this week. More to be found I’m sure.

Has there been another since the pre-invasion moulting individual in March (still 20 miles)?

Very nice Nigel, given the large influx this year most likely a different individual from the bird in Bristol yesterday; the recent bird in the Burnham area was considerably closer of course.

One was in Whitchurch, Bristol yesterday evening, but not seen today (only 35 miles north - photo on avonbirding). Next nearest have been on the Devon / Dorset coast recently.
