I was at the bend of Kid Gate Drove and Totney Drove this morning (8:30ish) and I could see Cattle Egrets from Jack’s Drove flying towards me. I counted 32 flying in the direction of Huntspill National Nature Reserve. They were widespread and impossible to get all in the frame. I confirmed my count by looking over several photo’s. The Cattle Egrets were with cattle towards the western end of Tealham Moor this afternoon , at least 20, probably more, but often hidden in long grass. Also two Yellow Wagtails in the same field.

At least 27 Cattle Egrets in tall grass around grazing cattle along Jack’s Drove on Tealham Moor this afternoon, Very difficult to see until they flew up before resettling, most appeared to be adults.
