Black redstart & stonechat in the cove; lapwings, fieldfare, song thrush, blackbird, skylarks, meadow pipit, chaffinch & starlings in fields opposite the car park, plus even more fieldfare along the road towards Lympsham

A kayak trip around the Down at high tide today noted pair of raven, couple pairs crow, flock jackdaws, lots of rock pipit, pair of peregrine, 2 oystercatcher, 1 other wader, lots shelduck, few mallard, various herring & LBB gulls.

2 Yellow-browed Warbler (with photo) reported on the Down on avonbirding today.

Thursday 3rd a field along the front was full of redwings, fieldfares, lapwings, curlew & Oystercatchers. Another two large flocks of lapwings were in fields between there & lympsham.
