Yes Dan, unfortunately many of the Somerset regulars do not use this forum, which really is a shame. If you want more current news from the area, you’ll have to get yourself on Twitter and start following the people likely to give you the info most useful to you, otherwise you’re going to miss a hell of a lot of stuff!

Guess people who’ve seen it don’t use this forum…

Please could someone explain how a Lesser Yellowlegs reported at Steart on Rare Bird Alert for the past couple of weeks has been completely absent from this forum.  I’m sure there is a simple explanation, or a long-standing disagreement on identification, or something.  But it seems confusing that there has been no reference to the bird here.
