This morning: Meare Heath 1 Reed Warbler with several Blackcaps along the railway line from the car park. Wigeon among increasing numbers of duck and coots on Meare Heath Lake.
Noahs hide from 9.00 until 10.00. One Black Tern, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Hobby (another visitor had seen more earlier) 1 Bittern landed in front of the hide, 3 Marsh Harriers and the usual mix of GWE, Little Egret and Grey Heron, ducks and Greylag geese.

Please note:
The discussion about Meare Heath scrape has been moved in the Forum to General Matters, under the title: Meare Heath scrape - or lack of it.
This is where it always should have been - my mistake for letting it run on. (Jeff Hazell)
