At least 5 Bewick’s Swans in the same place this afternoon along with 30 or so Mute Swans and a lone Black Swan.

12 Bewick’s Swans seen this morning, group of 7 by the Pill Bridge at ST497232, another 5 slightly further west in a mixed group of Mute swans. Accessible down muddy track from Ilchester, pics on Twitter later.

Looks like the 12 Bewick’s have moved to the eastern end of West Sedge Moor. Just visible from the Red Bridge about 3 or 4 fields to the west of the Bridge. Looked settled and keeping a low profile out of the strong wind.

12 Bewick’s Swans seen on the levels near Ilchester this morning in a large (100+) group of mute swans and a lone black swan.
