A Ring Tailed Hen Harrier put in another appearance at 1415hrs. this afternoon it’s the first time I’ve connected with it this week. Duck nos. remain moderate but at least 42 Pintail were present. Other Raptors all seen at distance were, one male one female Marsh Harrier and singles of Kestrel and Sparrow Hawk.

A Ring Tailed Hen Harrier was spotted by Alison E.  flying through the reserve from N.E. to S.W. yesterday afternoon around 1400 hrs. it went straight through heading towards Chilton Polden.  Again the Chiloe Wigeon was present.
