Still in the same area at the top of Aisholt Combe/Common feeding on beetles. I imagine it will move off in the next few days. Also a very flighty Ring Ouzel on the N side of the Common.

Shrike still present on Sunday 19th March at Aisholt Combe.

Still present late morning in the same area as the previous postings at the top of Aisholt Combe. Also a male Wheatear there and a Fieldfare with two Mistle Thrushes.

Still present at top of Aisholt Common at ST182354 this afternoon at 3.15pm.

The Great Grey Shrike still around the top of Aisholt Combe (ST171351) on the Quantocks late this morning fairly settled until it was driven off by a Mistle Thrush. Last seen flying off high over Wills Neck towards the area above Triscombe Quarry.

The Great Grey Shrike late this morning on trees between the top of Aisholt Combe and the main track NE of Wills Neck. Chased a Meadow Pipit and then flew off high towards Lydeard Hill where it landed, I didn’t see it when I walked back that way later.

The Great Grey Shrike again on Cothelstone Hill early this morning at ST191328. It or another was seen further along the Quantocks on January 28th at Marrow Hill so if it is the same bird it is not as settled as last winter.

A Great Grey Shrike on the north side of Cothelstone Hill on the Quantocks early this morning seen by Tim Howard. However, not seen later in the day.
