Several Yellow Wagtails back on Wet Moor again this year, good numbers of Skylark and Reed Bunting also. Though yet again NO lapwing, Snipe or Curlew.
There is something very wrong with our Levels in summer despite all the money given to landowners for raised water levels and ‘sensitive’ farming practices.
Perhaps EA/NE need more money to police this expenditure otherwise the only place to see birds will be on Reserves!
