After slogging and sliding around on the muddy saltmarsh, eventually flushed one close Jack Snipe, although probably another 2 that went up distantly with a large flock of c.60 Common Snipe - c.85 Common Snipe in all. Brian Hill has seen up to 5 Jack’s here recently - per Twitter.
Also 2 Stonechats on the edge of the marsh and my first Greenfinch of the year - a smart male - on the same bramble patch; c.20 Skylarks and a flock of 40+ Linnetts that flew towards the Huntspill Seawall, where no sign of the Snow Bunting in long search.

Flock of c.150 Avocets flying around off the Huntspill Sluice, plus the usual common waders as the big high-water was dropping off.
