No sign of the Snow Bunting along the Huntspill Seawall this morning in a biting northerly wind, just a flock of c.60 Linnets.
Strung out, along the Steart bank of the Parret Estuary along Stockland Reach, were at least 360 Avocets, a personal maximum at this site, but this is 200 below what I’ve been told was a recent count of 560 by the bird-survey team for EDF at Hinkley Point.
