After recent nearby building work disturbance, it was good to find this Little Owl back in its favoured apple tree and enjoying the morning sunshine below Glastonbury Tor this morning. For a photo click on this link https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cwl1g9_XcAAhtYc.jpg

Later, at Stathe (from the bridge over the River Parret), looking out to the west over Aller Moor, there was some 30 or so feeding Common Cranes that were joined by 8 others which flew majestically in from the north.
