A stroll out on to the moor this morning via Cinnamon Lane, produced:
• Plenty of Sedge warbler chuntering away
• Small flocks of Goldfinch & Linnet
• 2 pairs of Stonechat
• A lovely female Wheatear
• Several Whitethroat & Reed Bunting
• Lots of Chiffchaff singing & the odd Blackcap
• 1 Bullfinch
• One Kestrel hovering
• A Lesser Whitethroat singing in Cinnamon Lane – by the small holding with the green doors, opposite the large ploughed field. This is the fourth year running that it’s come back to this very spot!
