No sign of any scaup or BN Grebes this morning.  Most of the coot and pochard have also left. Only new birds were 2 shelduck, and they also flew off at 11.30!

1 imm m scaup by axbridge entrance, separate to the other with 4 f at SW side, where 2 BNG were also (first scaup was still there when I’d walked all the way around; one of grebes is starting to get golden tufts). At least 1m & 3f goosander, although they were flying about. Pair of Canada geese, but fewer coot, tufties, Pochard and GC Grebes than start of month - latter starting to display

Three BN grebes together today just south of Cheddar Tower.  Third bird probably been there since Saturday (suspected by Andy M. and Sean D). A couple of mobile scaup still. Significant numbers of BH gulls had flown in by 3.30.
