Wet Moor (very Wet!) best October WeBS count in 40 years this morning with 2 adult Whooper Swans being the highlight though they flew off east at 10.30h. However very early Wigeon (50) and 6 Shoveler were an equal surprise, plus 4 Egyptian Geese, 100 Canada Geese, 2 Great Egrets, 12 Cranes. Peregrine, Marsh Harrier etc made for a very interesting Global Warming enhanced count!
