Thanks Stephen: 2 singing male Lesser Whitethroats (1 seen well) in the northern end of the copse next to the Huntspill Sluice, also 3 Greenfinches and c.40 Swallows. 19 Whimbrel along the Huntspill Seawall. Later this morning a flock of c.40 Whimbrel feeding on the muddy mouth of the Parret Estuary as viewed from Burnham sea-front.

High tide visit on Wednesday 24th April: 27 Whimbrel along grassy area below sea wall; 2 singing Lesser Whitethroats at either end of copse north of sluice, also 2 singing Cetti’s - no wheatears, common whitethroats, blackcaps or willow warblers…
