My first visit this Spring - A very pleasant afternoon and dry for a change! As you would expect after all this rain everything is in bud and very verdant. lots of lush grass and lambs everywhere -  rather idyllic!
Several singing Warblers:  Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Sedge Warbler and one Blackcap heard. Someones been planting trees on one of the droves and there’s an owl box in an old oak too - perhaps we’ll get an owl in there this year.  (2nd year)
I heard a Cuckoo calling from afar,  worth noting though,  as I’ve only heard Cuckoos calling here about 6 times in 40 years and only seen them once - two on the same day! flying together.

Several Buzzards
Gold Finch
Reed Bunting
Stonechat
Linnet
Great & Blue Tit calling from the oaks trees.
