Observations at the beginning and end of the day produced: 6 flyover Cattle Egrets, a flock of 50+ Sand Martins which scurried through early doors, a WP Spotted Redshank feeding like a duck sp. as they often do, 52 Blackwits many in sp, 5 Garganey (3 m & 2f), 4 Glossy Ibis feeding under the bank - one bird was in breeding plumage, the others I imagine were 2 cy birds?  Summer warblers were also much in evidence - Chiffchaff, Blackcap & Willow Warbler.
