An adult Whooper Swan flew west this morning at 11 a.m. off Greenaleigh Point. The winds have turned northerly which may account for its occurrence. Ironically, the last time I saw one was at the same place on the 28th of October 2020, when Brian Gibbs independently saw it off Minehead first.

It is sill a scarce bird on Somerset Exmoor.
