A short walk around part of Horner wood taking in Webbers Post, Aller Combe and part of East Water produced few birds (probably due to them being in moult).
The highlights being
Dipper x 2 (different locations)
Grey Wagtail x 2
Robin x 25 (the majority along the valley bottoms of Horner Water and East Water)
Wheatear x 1
For non locals thinking of visiting the woodland, check the NT website as there are maps showing path closures due to Ash dieback.
