As I was driving out of Long Sutton towards Somerton yesterday at about 1pm,  I spotted a Little Owl sitting in the middle of the main Road. I slowed my van down, the Owl seemed to look at me for a moment and then flew off.
I have only seen them safely perched in trees during the day before. Maybe it had spotted some food in the Road?
